Hailey Harris, LPC - Therapist

Hailey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and obtained her master's in counseling from Boise State University. Hailey has a passion for helping others overcome obstacles and empowering them to realize their innate ability for resilience. She has adopted an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to counseling where she believes encouragement, collaboration, and promoting behavioral change is key for optimal mental health. She is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment to explore client's experiences and challenges. Hailey strategizes in viewing individuals holistically and enjoys personalizing treatment plans for each client's unique needs and strengths.

Hailey's theoretical approach to counseling includes Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and a Strength-Based approach. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. She has experience working with issues related to depression, anxiety, life-transitions, parent-child relationships, suicidal ideation, self-esteem, LGBTQI+ identity, grief and loss, trauma, addiction, marriage/personal relationships, and learning effective coping skills. Hailey also has experience in counseling within schools local to the Treasure Valley as well as college students at BSU.

About Hailey

Hailey moved to Boise in 2018 and has a background in writing and Criminal Justice. In addition, Hailey worked as a writing coach for graduate students at BSU. In her free time, she enjoys anything outdoors and frequently spends time on the green belt or hiking in the foothills. Hailey loves recreational activities such as weight training, rock climbing, snowboarding, and riding her bike. She also has a deep connection with animals and adores spending time with her cat, Teddy, and her dog, Atticus.
