Maycie Radcliffe - Counseling Intern

It is so great that you are here. Maycie is currently an LPC-intern, and a graduate student at Boise State University pursuing her master's in counseling. Maycie has worked with the young and middle aged adults during her practicum experience. Maycie is currently offering individual counseling sessions for adolescents and the adult population.

Maycie has always had a niche for helping people, and is excited to start assisting individuals in becoming their best selves. Maycie places emphasis on the healing that comes from clients engaging in self-exploration through their past and current life experiences. Maycie’s practice is grounded in Person-Centered therapy, while also utilizing a Humanistic, Strength-Based approach. Maycie also takes the time to incorporate Psychoeducaton when appropriate.

Maycie understands that no individual is the same, and different interventions may need to be utilized based on client needs. Maycie wants her clients to feel empowered to advocate for what they need in their counseling session in order to feel heard, safe, and respected. Through empathic understanding, a non-judgmental environment, coping skills, and collaboration, she strives to help clients become their most authentic self. Taking the first step of seeing a counselor is courageous and should not be overlooked. Maycie is excited to go along this journey with you, and looks forward to being there every step of the way.
